Insights Online Evaluator Destination FAQ

If your clients are having difficulty with an Insights Evaluator Online, please make sure that you also refer to the Insights Discovery Online Evaluator FAQ.

Why can't I drag "evaluator.xml" into Insights Discovery from Lotus Notes®?
Lotus Notes does not support dragging files out of an email message in the same way as many other email packages. As a result, it is not possible to drag "evaluator.xml" directly from your Lotus Notes mail message into Insights Discovery. To work around this, save the "evaluator.xml" attachment to a folder on your hard disk, or to your desktop, by clicking on the attachment with the right mouse button and selecting "Detach" . The file can be dragged directly into Discovery from the folder or desktop.

My clients have completed the Evaluator but I haven't received it.
There are a number of possible causes of this issue, which are out of Insights' control:

  1. The message has been delayed in transit, or lost entirely. Email is just like the postal service - it delivers almost all the time, but sometimes mail can be delayed or lost due to problems along the way. Usually, this is due to problems at one of the mail servers that the message must pass through. If the mail message is delayed in this way it may arrive late by as much as several days. Very occasionally, mail can be lost completely.
  2. The message is being filtered out at a server along the way. The message may have been falsely identified as containing unsolicited marketing, a virus or offensive content by a server "upstream" of you. The message may have been discarded entirely, or delivered empty. This might be at your internet service provider, or elsewhere. Enquiring about your ISP's mail filtering policy may help to resolve this problem.
  3. The message is being filtered out by software at your organization. The message may have been falsely identified as containing unsolicited marketing, a virus or offensive content by filtering software at your organization. The message may have been discarded entirely, or delivered empty. Enquiring about your IT department's mail filtering policy may help to resolve this problem. If you manage your own PC, please review any mail-filtering options which may be enabled on your machine.
